Tim Bradley is a highly sought session and performance drummer. He extends his repertoire to cajon, hand percussion, congas, bongos and djembe. Born in Gosford, New South Wales, Tim spent three years under the tuition of maestro drummer David Jones before cutting his teeth in musical productions, cruise ship cabaret and even a three month stint playing Brazilian jazz in Portugal.Currently he plays in Sydney with a number of bands including On The Stoop, Waiting For Guinness, Arbori, Anna Salleh, Hung Drawn Quartet, FIG and student/child care workshops, Fred Smith and Afro JPamoja. He has a weekly residency with John Maddox at Master retreat includes a walk in robe and full ensuite Falcon’s in Glebe and a monthly residency at Foundry 616 with Anna Salleh.With influences ranging from Richard Bona and Steve Gadd to Peter Erskine and Milton Nascimento, his style is loose yet rhythmically succinct. Meditative, open minded and focussed, he believes that with great power comes great responsibility, teaching his students that with more discipline comes freedom.An in demand session drummer, he has played on a diverse range of albums including Friend or Foe by Waiting for Guinness Album, Walls by Arbori EP, A Felicidade by Anne Sallah Album, and Overland by Hung Drawn Quartet.
