Freelance Graphic and Industrial Designer working on a variety of projects for print and manufacture. Products have included apparel, office products, homeware products, baby toys and pushchairs. Managed all aspects of the projects from concept to detailed design and client and manufacturer liaison.

Freelance Industrial designer at a small design consultancy in London, working on projects for major brands. Working in a team of just two means that I am fully involved in all aspects of projects, and am afforded a great level of responsibility in the work undertaken. Key activities involve initial market research and product testing, ideation and mechanical development, detailed 3D CAD and renderings, in addition to prototyping and model making final solutions. Fast paced projects require rapid levels of skill development in order to stay on top of project work.

Placement year undertaken at therefore, which involved working on projects from the initial research phase, through to detailed CAD and liaison with manufacturers. Through the projects undertaken I also liaised directly with clients, and also produced and delivered concept presentations. Worked on briefs in a variety of market sectors, including home audio, landline telephones, fitness products and kitchen products, for multinational corporations.

Assisted the University in providing tours of its facilities, fielding inquiries from parents and students and helping out at applicant days for potential students.

Volunteering in a local charity shop, stocking shelves and managing deliveries. Learning how a retail environment works.
