About Tim Brettig

I am a Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist currently working at MACCS Medical Group and a post-doctoral researcher in the food allergy stream of the National Allergy Centre of Excellence (NACE). I am involved in world leading allergy research at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) also as a senior study doctor having completed my PhD in 2023, focussed on the diagnosis of tree nut allergy in children. My work involves a number of trials and programs focussed on the treatment of food allergy as well as studies which aim to understand the causes and hopefully prevent food allergies occurring.
