Tim has over 35 years of experience in the electrical design/engineering field and 6 years experience as an estimator/project manager/electrical designer for an Electrical Contractor. Tim has extensive experience in the field of Project Management as well as in the design and implementation of lighting, lighting controls, power distribution including medium voltage systems, critical and emergency power systems including UPS systems, paralleling switchgear & redundant power applications, power factor correction, and low voltage system design including data/telecomm/network, fire alarm, security, nurse call and energy management systems. Tim's primary responsibility while in the consulting engineering field has been in the engineering design and application of electrical systems for healthcare, educational, institutional, laboratory, industrial, data center, retail, and a wide range of commercial facilities.Tim has had the unique experience, while with the Electrical Contractor, to carry projects from owner interface/planning/conceptual design, through the budgeting process, to developing construction documents (drawings and specifications), to estimating the project, creating submittals, purchasing the project through distribution channels, managing field electricians, developing critical sequences of construction & critical power cutover (data center project), to development of as-built drawings and O&M Manuals, through testing and commissioning of the project at completion.
