Worked and studied in a professional laboratory environment utilizing modern scientific equipment and following all safety standards. Aided my professor by helping analyze experimental data, providing new ideas to the ongoing process, performing experimental tasks in the lab, and drawing conclusions to answer given questions. Developed and completed my own project to study modified nano-diamond suspensions in toluene with the purpose of increasing the working thermal capacity of the fluid. This was done by Studying the relationship between the concentration of the nano-diamond coating agent versus the particle size and concentration of nano-diamond clusters within the fluid through the use of UV absorption and Dynamic Light Scattering.
