- Supported the due diligence phase of an acquisition of a US-based business (Briggo).- Supported the due diligence phase of Costa's acquisition by The Coca Cola Company from Whitbread in January 2019, with a purchase price of £3.9bn.- Led a team of multi-disciplinary engineers (and a significant team of third parties such as manufacturing partners and design consultancies) to design, develop and manufacture world-class self-serve B2C (bean-to-cup) intelligent coffee concessions.- Responsibility for design and development of hardware, machine software, compliance and certification, Product Management.- Defined and led the strategic direction of Product Development, in line with ambitious international growth plans.- Responsible for driving innovation and management of the intellectual property portfolio- Owned a £4.8M Capital Expenditure budget for 2019 R&D (for example).- Achieved Certification in 'Introduction to Coffee' from the 'Specialty Coffee Association' (May 2018).- Led a highly effective team. In the 2018 internal survey my team collectively voted a score of 97% Engagement and 96% Enablement, with 100% of the team being "Most Effective" in their roles. i.e., having the skills, facilities and direction needed to be effective in the delivery of their respective responsibilities.- Awarded "Team of the Year" in 2019 on behalf of the Technical Development team (the first time the team have been awarded this accolade, against some fierce competition).

- Head of Mechanical Engineering at the Electronic Warfare Centre of Excellence, in Luton; a Finmeccanica company. Leadership of a team of 30+ Mechanical Engineers, including proximity management of specialists in structural, pressure and thermal analysis. Reporting to the Selex ES Mechanical Engineering Director.- Mechanical Responsibility for Electronic Counter Measures, Pods and Decoys across Selex ES; self-protection systems that are in operation on rotary and fixed wing platforms around the world (most notably the Apache, Chinook and Eurofighter Typhoon).

- Lead Mechanical Engineer on the worlds first expendable Digital RF Memory (DRFM) jammer for fast-jet aircraft, providing an Electronic Warfare enhancement option.- Team Leader to a team of 6 Mechanical Engineers.

- Deputy to the Head of Engineering Solutions.- Responsible for the Engineering transition of new products to the offshore supply chain.

- Technical Lead and Mechanical Design Authority on an 'Urgent Operational Requirement'.- 3 weeks from brief to prototypes on field trial. Product featured on BBC documentary.- Managed all Engineering aspects of the Far East supply chain, both remotely and on-site.- Significant exposure to the end customer, in identifying market opportunities, defining requirements, front end design, prototype trials, product life cycle management.

- Managed design consultancies in the U.K., U.S. and Singapore.- Project managed military comms products, with the authority to sub-contract design.- Significant amount of time overseas, providing technical and managerial support (particularly in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico and the U.S.), as Engineering Design Authority, liaising with design partners and manufacturing partners.
