Sr. Systems Architect-Cloud
Current- Design and lead Kohler IT’s transition to cloud computing with a focus on Azure. - Architect customer cloud computing solutions that align with business objectives. - Demonstrate a consultative mindset, advising the Kohler IT organization and its business customers on proper adoption and use of Azure cloud computing technology. - Act as a cloud computing evangelist, providing periodic, awareness-level education events for interested Kohler IT associates. - Work with Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business application leaders to define coexistence and upgrade modes for Skype and Teams. - Stay abreast of general cloud computing and specific Azure cloud IAAS and PAAS developments. - Stay abreast and advise Digital Workplace team of Office 365 technology developments, strategic opportunities, and potential risks. - Develop and maintain deep expertise in Azure and Office 365 technology spaces. - Mentor junior associates as needed during the execution of major upgrades and/or infrastructure environment changes. - Build relationships with customer and project team members. - Attend weekly CAB meetings to represent department changes as needed, also translating impact of relevant changes to department team members. - Serve as a subject matter expert in the event of a security breach.
