August 2020:after the announcement of the closure of 26 clubs my main concern is making sure my team in Bridlington find new positions. This is currently looking promising.I've been lucky that I was one of the managers chosen to speak to our land based customers between March and July.I picked up some great skills using industry standard tools gathering information and speaking to online customers about responsible online gambling.Irons are in fires while also looking at broadening one's skills. I'm offering myself free to any organisation that is finding times challenging and needs some help, if I'm put on 12 weeks notice from the end of August.I've received some great advice which has given me focus and ideas, let's see how the future pans out!February 2020:After a successful term in Lincolnshire working with a great team I'm now involved in preparing an East Yorkshire seaside business for the 2020 season.the strategy is to establish the business at the heart of the community with outreach to other businesses and their teams, the local Pride initiative in July, and a planned 70s weekend in September.March 2014:A continuation of moving my team and adding seven new people. I have a couple of stars amongst the originals and another couple of stars in the making. I'm so pleased for them and their aspirations. Acceptance had been achieved in the change management circle. Looking forward to 'this is how I work', this club is a great challenge! Previously:Some people are well on their waySeptember 2013 achievements :Admission growth in traditional industry lull during summer.Created environment in which directors feel confident in investing in industry standard technology upgrades and density to complement increase in sales.Have change managed the introduction of a quality AWP team, by utilising wasted time, at no real increase in cost.My current goals as at August 2013:Take the customers and team on a journey led by their input and matching it to industry technology and changes.Encourage my team to be involved in their development while embracing and formulating changes required.Create the right environment to allow me to negotiate further investment by the business owners.My strategy is to create a lean, professional unit that offers a great leisure experience mixing the best of its industry with the local touch delivered by a great team in order to grow our solid customer base.
