Commencing his journey as a young individual, Tim immersed himself in different roles throughout the company, gaining a comprehensive understanding of his family’s business. In 1989, Tim assumed the role of Director of Operations at Frank Clesen & Sons. He expanded the business by opening a boutique high-end cut flower operations and developed a reputation for unique high-quality products that couldn't be found at other wholesalers.In 2001, the transformation from Frank Clesen & Sons to Clesen Wholesale took place, with Tim becoming CEO. For the next six years, their high-end cut flower business served floral shops, special event companies, and local and regional grocery stores. In 2007, Tim shifted Clesen Wholesale away from cut flowers to seasonal flowering plants and live outdoor decorations, which includes winter greens, decorative branches, and container accents. Today, Clesen Wholesale serves customers across 28 states including professional landscapers, independent garden centers, and national retailers like Whole Foods and Costco. Tim recently acquired Star Valley Flowers located in Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin and is a prominent producer specializing in fruiting, flowering, and decorative branches.In 2022 Clesen Wholesale and Star Valleys Flowers implemented EOS®.
