I am worked as a developer and team lead on a high performance and high availability web service that provides authentication and authorization for Rackspace products and services. I lead of team of fully remote developers divided between US and India locations. Tech stack:• Java, Groovy, Spring, Jersey (core app)• Gradle, Openshift, helm, docker, Jenkins (CI/CD)• Splunk, New Relic (monitoring, logging)• Rest assured, spock, JUnit, JMeter (testing)• SAML, RADIUS, HOTP/TOTP, LDAP (authN, federation, MFA)• Bash, Python (scripting)• AWS EC2, DynamoDB (microservices)A few of the projects that I have worked on include:• SAML-based federation allowing for authentication into our system• Multi-factor authentication providing both HOTP and TOTP authentication• Microservices in Python, Groovy, and Spring Boot for reading system event feeds from other products and updating our system to maintain consistency• Microservices in Python for encryption key creation and rotation• Porting our Jenkins build pipeline to Openshift and maintaining helm charts related to our CICD and application deployments• An application using Angular and Spring Boot to audit systems and assist in diagnosing production issues• Designed and lead the implementation for delegating permissions across linked customer accounts using federation• Redesigned how asynchronous events are sent from the customer identity application for better scalability and removed the performance impact on the application. I also created a dashboard in New Relic to view metrics for the various asynchronous workers processing events. • Redesigned our integration tests to be run against an arbitrary environment (dev env, staging, and sandbox env in Openshift). This supported running tests in parallel and replaced a slow and hard to maintain set of tests. Technologies used: REST Assured, groovy, spock, gradle, helm, openshift, docker
