With over nine years of experience in law enforcement as a parole officer, I have developed strong skills in risk assessment, conflict resolution, and communication. I am also certified as a Field Training Officer, Fire and Safety Officer, Law Enforcement Instructor, and Firearms Instructor. I have a BS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where I learned the fundamentals of criminal law, crime analysis, and forensic science.Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University, where I am learning how to identify and prevent security vulnerabilities, secure networks and systems, and respond to cybersecurity incidents. I have also completed the Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity bootcamp, where I gained hands-on experience in using various tools and frameworks for cybersecurity. I am certified in CompTIA A+ and SOC Member by LetsDefend. I am passionate about public service and helping others, and I am excited to use my unique background and skills to make a positive impact in the cybersecurity field.
