Yep, a bit of everything. Since 2014 I have been freelancing my services out. It has given me an opportunity to use all the skills I have gathered over a career. So sometimes I Conceptualise ideas, sometimes I Write, sometimes I Direct, sometimes I Shoot, sometimes I Edit. Sometimes I do all of the above. Love what I am doing right now.:-) I am also part.

I am responsible for taking a brief from Client, and together with a team, brainstorm an effective piece if communication that falls within the client budget. I will collaboratively work on the scripting and shot listing. I am intimately involved in putting the whole production together in terms of deciding the treatment, deciding creatively what camera.

Editing mainly on the Softimage DS system (later Avid DS), it was my job to edit the most important and biggest jobs in a creative and effective way. It was important to meet strict deadlines often in a stressed environment. Besides the edit function of the job, I was also responsible for all the technical aspects of the company, making sure all the edit.

I was tasked with running the Avid Media Composer. It was my job to offline all content in a production. Offline editing taught me the valuable skills of storytelling and managing an edit process. I would need to liaise with the Director and Online Editor to achieve both an effective piece of communication and one that technically was sound.
