Originally from New Zealand and based in Bordeaux, France. At the age of 21 I became a qualified carpenter. The following year I started my career as a rugby union player. At 22 I become a rugby international at sevens and 15's for Samoa and played professionally in England and France from 2003 to 2011. In 2014. I founded Rustic Vines, a specialist wine and bike tour company in the world renowned Bordeaux wine region. Today, Rustic Vines is Trip Advisor’s number one activity in Bordeaux. In December 2020 I decided to use my contacts and wine experience to launch Oui Cellar, a wine club which provides subscribers all over the world 12 bottles of french wine every 3 months. I have extensive English and European wine industry experience, and existing relationships with multiple chateaux and drinks industry contacts across Bordeaux. I’m bilingual English and French.
