I have relocated to Dalton, GA after working abroad in Germany and Scotland. After working in the non-profit sector for a number of years, I am re-entering the business world and applying a diversity of skills and experiences of cross-cultural non-profit work in an engineering role.For the past eleven years, I have worked for a small organization supporting university students in Edinburgh, Scotland and Tübingen, Germany. Inclusive in that time is over three years’ experience as a team leader and 8 years as a team treasurer. I wore a number of other hats in those roles to ensure the founding and operation of the organization in Scotland and Germany. I am currently in the process of completing an MBA with Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, which includes coursework on human resources, accounting, project management, and strategic planning. I hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and have previous internship experience in manufacturing settings.
