Tim Crane joined Wintrust in 2008 and, among other responsibilities, oversees all of Wintrust’s 15 banks with over 180 locations. During his 15-year career at Wintrust, he has been responsible for a banking business that has grown by $44 billion. Wintrust’s distinct community bank structure has led to customer satisfaction scores among the highest in the industry and recognition that includes several JD Power (Consumer) and Greenwich (Commercial) awards.Prior to joining Wintrust, Tim had 24-year career at Bank of Montreal/Harris Bancorp where he was President of Harris Bancorp’s network of 21 banks and nearly 200 locations.Tim has his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and an undergraduate degree from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (finance/pre-med). He serves on the board of Metropolitan Family Services, the Bank Administration Institute, Chicago United and DePaul University. Locally, he is active with The Bankers Club of Chicago and other organizations.
