I am currently a Controls Engineer at Hargrove Controls + Automation, where I've had the opportunity to work on many projects with a wide range of disciplines. In addition to the typical PLC and DCS programming that I do in nearly every project, I also write software applications in Python and VBA to automate tedious and time consuming tasks that we do every day. Countless hours have been saved through tools that I developed. Outside of my current position, I've also had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects. Some examples of my projects include designing embedded systems (from component selection to PCB design and firmware development), and data collection and analysis using MatLab and Python. My biggest asset is my ability to quickly learn and master new technical skills. This comes from the fact that I love learning how and why things work.
