Work as part of the Energy Portfolio team to economically dispatch and schedule resources to meet our Member load requirements. Participate in the Day-Ahead market and buy or sell power and natural gas depending on the system position. Ultimate goal is to satisfy the load of the 43 members with reliable and affordable Energy.• Balance the system position and schedule generation based on the most economical solution on a Day-Ahead basis• Trade Power with WECC counter parties based on system length or shortness• Procure and schedule Natural gas for our generators based on scheduled runs• Manage Federal Hydro power resources and dispatch them accordingly• Input schedules and generation information into the energy management accounting systems• Optimize existing transmission assets via energy scheduling processes• Purchase transmission from transmission providers, as required, to support energy transaction schedules via OASIS• Implement and manage the day to day activities regarding NITSonOASIS in accordance with FERC Order 890• Prepare tags for purchases, sales, and other schedule transactions within required industry standard timelines• Communicate daily with generating facilities regarding unit availability and unit testing• Communicate daily with counter parties regarding contingent contract availability and scheduling of resources• Maintain logs and records, accurately documenting relevant pre-scheduling information and unique circumstances• Confirm pre-scheduled hourly net scheduled interchange with Balancing Authorities prior to data transfer to Real-Time operation• Ensure compliance with all applicable FERC, NERC, and WECC regulations, reliability standards and business practice standards• Scheduling Agent for counter parties that lack in-house scheduling options

Product Specialists are the liaison/interface between Arrow's suppliers and Arrow sales team. The main purpose of the position is to develop, grow, and leverage the influential supplier relationships, negotiate competitive pricing and availability, and increase sales and gross profit dollars for the branch or region. As the primary point of contact between the Arrow sales team and the supplier, Product Specialists also manage the product literature distribution, and promote product lines within the branch/region.
