• Representative experience:
• Tim has acted for the government of Nigeria since the mid-1970s, when he was involved in the state immunity cases arising out of the cement crisis. He led the team advising Nigeria in the land and maritime boundary.
• Represented Botswana in its river boundary dispute with Namibia before the ICJ
• Several high-profile cases in the 1980s and '90s, including the Lloyd's/PCW litigation, the Barlow Clowes liquidation and BCCI
• Currently acting for several governments and anti-corruption commissions recovering assets looted by former heads of state and high-ranking government officials
