Responsible for developing test solutions for High Performance Compute servers, including:• Designed multiple test applications for testing new features of low-level server control firmware:- Built the DiskImage program to download complete ROM QA test tool suite on to uninitialized hard disks using either chipset SATA or hardware RAID controllers in the UEFI preboot shell.- Modified the SMBIOS, NIC and PCIe tests to validate new and updated features of the server firmware.• Designed and developed a C# solution for monitoring and controlling server units running the ROM QA automated memory test (called MemError).- Built C# server application that processes and parses log files generated by MemError and stores the parsed log file information in a SQL database.- Wrote a client application that communicates with the server application, allowing many simultaneous users to view the status of units under test, and view the logs in the database view sorting and filtering.- The server application communicates via REST API with units running MemError, showing their current status, test case and allowing for remote control of the unit to stop, pause or exit the running test.- Wrote UEFI C code that allowed MemError to communicate with the server application via an FTP “mailbox”.
