Stood up the direct sourcing of materials from 20% active management to over 85% active management of total spend. Even during the COVID supply chain crisis, cost savings targets have always been achieved. Led, partnered and motivated internal cross-functional teams to identify and execute meaningful cost savings initiatives. Implemented several companywide supply chain cost savings projects which included detailed analysis, supplier summit, RFP’s, aggressive negotiations and the developing of long-term strategic suppliers within ingredients, packaging, contract manufacturers, and warehousing/logistics.
