LAMD Team was the first to use LDPC for HDD and NAND SoC controllers using our leading edge LDPC solutions, which enabled Storage Industry transitioning from PRML to LDPC technologies. Merged through to Broadcom Inc: started from Agere Systems, later merged into LSI Corp. Initially 2 years worked Distinguished Member of Technical Staff; then as global Storage Director of Sales and Marketing, Built and managed simultaneously 2-3 successful customer account teams from scratch to mature team, customers cross both US and APAC regions, including Western Digital, Samsung, Hitachi and Toshiba. Grew Samsung revenue from zero in 2005 to $54M+ in 2007; other customers (HGST, Toshiba etc..) revenue grew from nothing/2006 to $50M+ in 2009. Currently those customers account close to $500M+ annual revenue for the Company. The most successful project is Samsung SAS SSD Controller, which enabled Samsung to become leading SAS SSD provider with largest market shares: project worth several $Billion dollars over multiple generations collaboration and partnership.
