With multiple years deployed to austere environments supporting the warfighter and contracting companies and their personnel with fire and emergency services. I have risen thru the ranks to obtain the experience and certifications necessary to work in the position of station Captain. while supervising an entire fire dept company.I have been involved in fire inspections thru out the locations where I am assigned to include completing the inspection workbooks and to inform the proper officials on needed corrections of hazards and deficiencies. Volunteering to forward deploy to isolated outposts in foreign hostile territories with limited assistance from the home department in order to conduct inspections and lessen the hazards associated with fire danger.Leading necessary programs to track and schedule apparatus maintenance to ensure equipment is kept in a ready state to provide service at all times. Replacing worn equipment when no longer serviceable and testing equipment in accordance with NFPA standards.Obtained and maintaining Nat'l Registry certification as an EMT and BLS CPR in order to render emergency medical aid for prehospital care due to chronic Illness and acute trauma due to motor vehicle accidents, penetrating trauma from gunshot wounds or concussive detonation injuries.Joining a search and rescue dive team as a diver, sought out and obtained multiple diver endorsements to reach Master Diver certification through PADI and Public Safety Diver certification through Diver Rescue International in order to conduct under water searches for lost personnel and evidence placed in waterways
