Managed a scheme to deploy 250 university students in 60 schools and colleges,mentoring 1380 pupils over 15 weekly sessions. Involved recruiting and managing relationships with students and school coordinators, planning and delivering a four week training programme, developing materials and systems to effectively manage the programme and designing an online tool to collect data and track progress.Successfully organised and delivered a two day ‘GCSE Choices’ event at The University of Manchester for over 750 year 9 pupils; arranging workshops, guest speakers and campus tours. Responsible for over 60 student helpers, organising and delivering their training and allocating them to roles. Effective crisis management employed when a large number of ‘School Group Leaders’ didn’t turn up on the first day, briefing and redeploying coordination staff to accompany school groups at short notice.Led a summer school programme, working in partnership with six universities. Designed marketing material, oversaw targeting and recruitment of school pupils and handled the allocation process to fill 380 places for disadvantaged pupils. Managed a central budget, compiled risk assessments and coordinated communication with all stakeholders.Designed a planning and monitoring database tool in Excel for Boroughs, Schools, Colleges and Universities to submit accurate yearly activity plans and monitoring returns. This replaced a word document template that had been used for years. Successfully persuaded stakeholders to switch to the new tool and trained end users, allowing user friendly input and fast collation of over 50 separate returns into a single area wide data return.Planned and delivered a training session to over 200 university students on effective use of emails and learner records as part of a school mentoring programme.

Automated separate monthly management information packs for the executive teams in the Sales, Commercial, Credit Control & Commissions departments, saving over fifty man hours each month and eliminating human error.Created a unique interactive billing tool in Excel that enabled customers to drilldown into detailed usage data for individual mobiles/cost centres with a level of detail that was unprecedented in the industry. The availability of this tool facilitated the retention of our highest value customers who were previously thinking of switching to another provider.Liaised with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements, offering suggestions at ways to tailor reports to the needs of the relevant department. Conducted training in how to use the reports and how to best interpret the output.
