Global - Worked Remotely

Performed analysis of Security and Fund Services BPM operations and systems as related global operations discovering areas of improvement for operations and technology teams. Facilitated the SFS Global Workflow BPM Council where various areas of initiatives were discussed, these included prioritizations, budgets, new technology, local and regional needs, staffing, vendor management, training needs and strategic directions. Coordinated program efforts between operations and technology teams closely with the senior management team from both areas, development teams, PMO teams and Operations staff. Work directly with technology teams in areas of product selection, design, estimation, implementation and resource assignment. Work with the operations teams in areas of project resource coordination, program planning, cost benefit analysis, budget planning, applications training manuals, run-book creation and change management.

Responsible for the analysis of the electronic content management projects that were behind schedule and over budget. Provided recommendations, guidelines and coordination for completion of project and expanding to new business sections. As the Program Manager activities included, but not limited to, identification and mitigation of issues, coordination of infrastructure and software upgrades, hiring of team members for development, project management and business analysis, manage the ECM Team, mentor project managers, identify training needs and work directly with training department on documentation and vendor management. Interface regularly with senior management to relate project activities and issue mitigation. Also participated in the development of support documentation standards and project management methodology, future MIS budget planning and presentations to senior management. Mentored resources in the areas of project resource coordination, meeting facilitation, capacity planning and metrics gathering and reporting. As a project manager: activities include gathering requirements, identifying and managing resources, monitoring project schedules and budgets, conduct planning sessions and on-going project meetings, managing implementation cycle, and perform post implementation review, training and testing.

North America And Europe

Product Manager responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, supporting and managing existing and new applications for Imaging, Workflow, Document Management, Disaster Recovery and Computer Output to Laser Disc (COLD). Coordinated the efforts of team members responsible for vendor selection and system/project strategy for imaging/workflow at Franklin Templeton Investments. This includes 800+ users located in North America and Europe. Systems and customers supported were in five locations in the U.S. along with facilities in Toronto, Canada, Frankfurt, Germany, and Luxembourg. These contain multiple applications with varied platforms and software versions. The imaging workflow systems were supported by a staff of 25. Worked with other technical and support teams to design and implement needed server, network and desktop upgrades in order to support the rollouts. Designed a “future state” environment that is currently being implemented.Managed the applications development team utilizing best practice tools and methodology including using FileNet Panagon products, Microsoft Visual Basic, SQL Server, ActiveX, and Internet Information Server with Active Server Pages. This was a Toronto based environment used by team members in Toronto, Canada, California, United States, Edinburgh, Scotland and two locations in India.Responsible for client server architecture design, installation and support. Activities included developing a strategic road map, project management, product/vendor evaluation, applications testing, disaster/recovery planning, and software standards. Directly managed a team of 35 in four countries.

Support Manager for evaluating, implementing and supporting document image processing in Consumer Credit Division. Developed corporate strategy post mergers that addressed the various imaging environments. Provided project management and operations support for consolidation of systems between operations centers including updating hardware and software for the consolidated environments. Provided internal consulting services in design of new systems and applications with other divisions. Coordinated and managed ECM system consolidations ad transfers after various acquisitions. These included Crocker Bank, First Interstate and Norwest where systems were combined, moved or had back file conversions of original documentation. Designed, managed and supported the ECM disaster recover solution for the Consumer Credit Division, participated in the disaster recover testing events for other divisions as well. Responsible for client server architecture design, installation and management. Acted as the interim manager of the Consumer Credit Division Network support staff supporting three customer service centers with 4000 desktops.Supervised the Document Entry Department, Equity Center in San Jose, California. FileNet Image/Workflow Systems Administration and Support. Various operations support positions at the consumer banks.
