I started out as an accountant in 1987. I've used all varieties of spreadsheets and accounting programs since I became an accountant, then became a QuickBooks accountant starting in 1998. I've been a QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2012. Now I am an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor , as well as certified with QuickBooks Online, Enterprise, and Point of Sale. I also now have the experience of several tax seasons behind me while working at 3 different tax firms. I'm currently studying for my CMA, and was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants starting in 1991. With God's Help, my own business can continue to grow while I continue my accounting work at Infinity Wealth Partners. In the past, my accounting 'roots' were primarily in accounting for churches, schools and benefactors. Now, working with Infinity Wealth Partners after their merger with DeFrain & Million, CPA's, LLC, I can continue working in public accounting and provide for my large family. The over 20 years of experience with non-profit accounting; including fundraising, benefactor relations, and general accounting are now nice to add to public experience. I have also been helping individuals and businesses since 1992. I want my clients to know they can rely on my commitment to hard work, and my good judgement to help their businesses succeed by providing accurate and informative financial information to assist them in making sound business decisions. These accurate financial statements transition easily into an accurate tax return for a business, or a personal return.

Tax Examining TechnicianInternal Revenue Service Mar 2013 - May 2013Kansas City, Missouri AreaWhile on a temporary (seasonal) assignment with the IRS, I was trained to review Form 1040 tax returns and schedules prior to entry into the IRS database. This position dealt with high volume productivity and accuracy and was a night shift position. The challenge was certainly there, but the duration was too short. Before leaving I was processing close to 65 tax returns per hour - including schedules. This position was useful in assisting my future business clients with avoiding most of the common tax return errors. The most important being to sign the tax return.
