Tim graduated from Kent State University before purchasing a local sign company, MC Sign, at the age of 24. With an ambitious vision, Tim steadily grew MC Sign and its breadth of facilities services solutions to include signage, refresh & remodel construction, repair & maintenance services, and energy services.As the company grew and evolved, so did the name. First, in 2018, MC Sign rebranded to MC Group to better reflect their broader product offering. Then in 2020, after acquiring one of its largest competitors the year prior, MC Group rebranded as Stratus. The acquisition of ICON in 2019, the one that created Stratus, was the company’s largest to date and formed one of the largest and most well-rounded brand implementation companies in the industry. Most recently in September 2021, Stratus made its second largest acquisition of MLE, Inc., an interior branding company based in Chicago, Illinois. Tim has always remained active in the community and started the Stratus Foundation with a mission of giving back to local area students and many other worthy local charities. To date, the foundation has raised over $900,000 with proceeds positively impacting many both in the local community and around the country.Tim continues to serve on various community boards and has earned a long list of accolades thanks to his leadership and entrepreneurial vision.With a charitable culture, over 850 employees, and over $300M in annual sales, Stratus has realized the vision Tim once had as a young, eager entrepreneur embarking on a new venture.
