Train the Responders on all aspects of oil spill response, equipment and vehicle maintenance, plus safe working practices so as to be able to provide an effective OSR capability.4. Ensure that all necessary permits and or approvals are obtained and maintained as required7. Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with the HSE Management Plan.9. Assist in the annual budget preparation and reporting;10. Provide oversight and have working knowledge of the Preventative Maintenance system for all assigned oil spill response equipment and vehicles;11. Remain up to date on spill response equipment and technology;12. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all monthly tracking of manpower, timesheets/payroll information and reporting of HSE issues;13. Assist with the development of any and all new plans, procedures and/or protocols.16. Understand and conform to the SESK HSEQ Policy and IMS requirements and demonstrate management commitment and leadership in this respect;17. Be prepared to assist the client (TCO) Incident Management Team and to act as the oil spill contractor interface with the Operations Section Chief;18. Be prepared to travel internationally in support of SESK’s other operations as required;19. Report to the SESI Regional Manager and the SESK General Manager

1. Training the Responders on all aspects of oil spill response, equipment and vehicle maintenance, plus safe working practices so as to be able to provide an effective OSR capability.2. Ensuring all HSE and other procedures are followed.3. Ensuring suitable and sufficient Job Hazard Analysis reviews are conducted where necessary. 4. Defining roles and responsibilities of site personnel with regard to safety.5. Ensuring that personnel appointed are competent to carry out the task for which they are assigned.6. Coordinating functions/activities of other CONTRACTOR staff as required. 7. Developing oil spill response exercise plans for CONTRACTOR and COMPANY as required.8. Coordinating daily functions of the response team.9. Procuring OSR equipment and consumables as required.10. Providing assistance to the Operations Manager as required.11. Ensuring that all OSR equipment is being properly maintained and operated.12. Performing safety audits, site safety inspections and complete job hazard analysis of specific jobs when directed;13. Maintaining 100% personal “Response Readiness” in all areas of operational needs, i.e., training, and other job-related requirements of a Responder. 14. Providing oversight and assistance to third party contractors as needed.15. Assuming the duties of the Operations Manager during periods of his/her absence.
