Created and administered the Town Budget for fiscal years 2006 and 2007. This included both the General and the Utility(Enterprise) funds. In Fiscal year 2007 this totaled more than $1,200,000. Previous budgets had been under $1,000,000.Created the first 5 year Capital Improvement Plan in the Town's history. The planned first years spending totaled more than $5 million.Led a staff effort to revise the entire Town Zoning Ordinance, adopted August 2006.Worked extensively with the Mayor and Town Council and Planning Commission.Liaison with; others on various projects.Supervised staff while the Town grew from 320 residences to more than 400 over the space of a year. The largest growth seen in the Town since the 1970s. Population during this period grew from approximately 850 to 1,100.Supervised staff maintaining a 250,000 gallon per day waste water treatment plant, and expanded the Town water system from a 75,000 gallon storage system to 210,000 gallons.

Chief analyst for the Department, conducting major research projects, including: the County Economic Overview for the bond review agencies, data for the BRAC Data Call.Managing editor of the St. Mary's County Business News, a weekly e-mail newsletter distributed to over 400 recipients.Presented to the County Commissioners, Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, also represented the County at various functions.Project manager for a County-wide Housing Needs Assessment, overseeing a team of consultants, ensuring that the project was kept on schedule and under budget. Developed a tracking system to handle citizen complaints regarding cable television service, decreasing the overall number of cable television complaints by 80%.Coordinated all aspects of the City's 2001 general election, increasing voter turnout by 5%, and created an election manual that can be referenced during future elections.Formulated and implemented the first "Residential Landscape Awards" program, encouraging residential property beautification throughout the City.Liaison to the City's Beautification, and Environmental Committees, as well as the Board of Elections. Maintaining regular contact with all members and holding monthly meetings. Managed the first "Transportation Expo" in Gaithersburg, which brought more than 200 transportation advocates and members of the public to discuss traffic congestion abatement.
