After extensive US touring and releasing two records independently, Ludo signed to Island Def Jam (Universal Music Group) in 2006. They released their major label debut in 2008, scoring a top-ten modern rock single with the song, "Love Me Dead."Ludo performed over 800 shows in every style of venue from TV (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!), arenas, and major concert venues to outdoor festivals and tours (Warped Tour, KROQ Weenie Roast) to clubs and basement shows.In 2018, Ludo began an annual, three-day hometown Halloween celebration in St. Louis. They sell around 6,000 tickets and perform three shows not including multiple VIP acoustic performances and miscellaneous extra events. Fans travel from all over the country to make a weekend of it.
