Degy Entertainment was started as a management firm in 1996. After several years of successful label signings, publishing signings, and licensings, Degy choose to enter the booking world. In September of 2001, Degy Booking International, Inc. launched as the booking arm of Degy Entertainment, and quickly grew to a client base of nearly 100 music acts. Over time, the company developed specialties in the college and military booking fields, and became one of the most prominent agencies in the world for such niche bookings. The company now books over 2000 events each year while working with some of the biggest names in the entertainment business.

Develop positive relationships with donors, the local community, site contacts and Canadian Blood Services staff to plan and execute collection events in accordance with all regulatory requirements and Canadian Blood Services policies, procedures and practices.Work in partnership with the territory leads and regional volunteer resources to ensure the event schedule meets goals of new, reinstated and donor base metrics resulting in consistent collections targets.

In a traditionally non-digital industry, helped modernize the label by maxmizing presence on social media sites, increasing digital revenue, exploring all digital marketing streams and cross-promoting with traditional PR and marketing avenues. Worked sales, promotions and general operations of summer folk music festival initiative as well as general artist development.

Engaged the region of Kitchener-Waterloo as the formal but fun-loving, public face of the radio station and brought radio promotions to the ground level. Attended and performed set-up at industry events, worked odd-hours in all-weather conditions.
