I was responsible for the installation of a variety of AV/Broadcast solutions ranging from local government to stadium venues. This included the running of cable, building/wiring AV equipment racks, installation of monitors and various other related tasks.

I was responsible for getting a primary and backup video/audio signal from the production truck into my satellite truck. From there I made sure the signal is processing correctly and cleanly so that no errors occur during broadcast. I was also responsible for manually peaking the satellite dish on the correct satellite and setting the proper frequencies for transmission. Also, I was responsible for proper maintenance and upkeep of the truck as a whole, including the engine and all the gear inside.

I was responsible for preparing all the gear required for a show including switchers, cameras, cableing etc. I was also responsible for wiring up fly packs as almost every show was a custom pack. I also had higher responsibilities such as LED Technician for the Daktronics 12MM video boards we had including managing the assembly and technical setup. I was also put in place as a projectionist for both corporate and concert type events.
