I moved to New York in 2011 to manage the US Operations and US Sales Teams. As the sole Executive Team member present in the US, I was responsible for growing our US presence from under ten to over 100, building competencies and structures that enabled the US offices to operate autonomously in terms of sales, client support, marketing and research. In addition to expanding our New York footprint, I also proposed and launched our California operations, initially in Silicon Valley and later moving to San Francisco.

The Communications department retained responsibility for all free and paid for publications, marketing activity, brand and press relations. The focus moved toward utilizing all the tools at our disposal to build the online subscription business, which ultimately proved successful as the products continued to grow rapidly.

Head Of Publications And MarketingPreqin 2006 - 2009London, England, GbI oversaw the production, management and strategy behind Preqin’s printed publication business, which at the time accounted for over 50% of company revenues and was a key strategic driver in providing a pipeline for the subscription business. At our peak, we were producing over 20 titles in a year. This role also encompassed launching new titles, many of which became the foundation for future online products (such as Real Estate and Infrastructure), or remain industry-leaders in their own right, such as the Preqin Sovereign Wealth Review and the Global Annual Reports. At this time, I was also responsible for Preqin’s marketing, including lead generation campaigns, content marketing, branding, press relations etc. This included the strategy and production of ‘free’ content such as Spotlight and Preqin Quarterlies.
