Having earned an executive coaching certification from Hudson Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management, I have a unique approach to executive recruitment with the goal of supporting clients so they can react swiftly and intentionally to whatever comes their way. Equally as important is cultivating an excellent candidate experience, which drove me to curate the Professional Assessment Algorithm—a framework that provides useful checkpoints for gaining a deeper understanding of talent before the offer when it is often too late to have an impact on anything but compensation. For nearly 30 years, I have partnered with boards and CEOs across the healthcare continuum—payers, providers, life science organizations, and healthcare services & technology—to align their business and talent strategies by assessing and identifying key strategic imperatives for short- and long-term success. Together we formulate a plan for accelerated performance and goal realization that ensures the best outcomes for everyone involved in the search—board, CEO, search committee, candidates, and the organization. A frequent contributing author for Wharton Healthcare Quarterly, I have presented on leadership and talent acquisition for Modern Healthcare, the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, and Health Plan Alliance. I have also participated on the boards and committees of several professional and civic organizations. I have been on the Medical Alley Association board of directors for more than a decade. Currently, I serve on the Executive Committee and chair the Nominating & Governance Committee. During my tenure, I have partnered with fellow board members to reposition the organization to better serve the health and medical ecosystem of Minnesota and the surrounding region. Born and raised in Minnesota, I am married with two grown sons. Some of the ways I practice balance and mindfulness include reading, golfing, traveling, and honing my navigation skills while sailing warm waters.
