As a field Vice President I play a key role in corporate site operations and provide on-site supervision of team members, planning, scheduling, and quality control. I am responsible for subcontractor performance and implementation of HITT’s safety program. I provide strategy, constructability, and logistics solutions, ensuring work complies with contract documents. In my role as vice president, I provide leadership to improve relationships with new and existing clients and subcontractors. I also apply project collaboration tools such as Procore and building information modeling (BIM) to ensure quality control and further drive timely delivery of construction progress. In this role I also sponsor junior team members and mentor them to ensure they have every opportunity to grow within our company.

As a Senior Superintendent I was responsible for managing all daily field operations on the project(s) assigned to me in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. As Senior Superintendent I did directly supervise superintendents, foremen & field labor force, including laborers/craft workers. Along with the above mentioned duties, I must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. General Position Summary • Assist Sr. Project Manager in the supervision and responsibility of the total construction effort in accordance with design, budget, quality, and schedule. • Assist with providing technical assistance (interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods and equipment, etc.) as required.• Inspection of subcontractor operations to ensure compliance with contract and specifications.• Review and approve trade contractor payment applications with Project Manager • Maintain good relationships with clients, including representatives of Owner, Architect/Engineer and Partners • Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with Sr. Project Manager • Development of Quality Assurance & Controls; Conduct quality inspections.• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts.• Monitor costs, including labor time and material• Communicate and enforce Safety and Health Management Program • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates• Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Daily Reports to document weather and field conditions, trade and subcontractor manpower, progress and conditions impacting the project, as well as Accident Reports, Quality Reports, etc.• Conduct subcontractor meetings• Attend and participate in project meetings• Provide training and education to support field superintendents and engineers.

As Project Superintendent I was directly responsible for the day to day operation of projects ranging from $5 million to $243 million in value. I supervised the field construction of these projects including their organization, planning, and scheduling, in order to complete the work on time, within the budget, and to the quality specified. As the Warehouse Supervisor I was responsible for the direct management and handling of all warehousing and distribution functions at Wheeler’s warehouse and shipping facilities. This included accountability for inbound and outbound shipments, as well as adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures.
