As a math teacher at Madison School District, I strive to foster numerical fluency and critical thinking skills in my students. I believe that anyone can learn math, and that it is more important that students learn as opposed to when they learn. I have a master's degree in mathematics and over 20 years of experience teaching calculus and statistics courses at the college level.My teaching approach is to provide students with every opportunity to succeed, and to teach them how to study effectively, not just what to study. I also incorporate real-world applications and problem-solving strategies to make math relevant and engaging. My goal is to inspire students to appreciate the beauty and power of mathematics, and to prepare them for their future academic and professional endeavors.
