• Managed client correspondence with Mavis Clinic for a request to create a custom centrifuge for blood separation in both 60 ml and 20 ml syringes operating at 4000 RPM.• Collaborated with a team of 3 people from the initial research and development stages through the design, manufacturing and assessment of a working prototype.• A working prototype was successfully completed on schedule under evolving COVID-19 restrictions. This was done with the consistent use of Gant charts for time management, delegating duties and frequent online meetings.• Development was accomplished through the use of software for the CAD modeling and engineering drawings, Finite Element Analysis and microcontroller programing. Custom components were created by utilizing fabrication skills on CNC, 3D printers, lathes and Milling Machines. Prefabricated parts were sourced and purchased from supplier.
