I'm an arts and entertainment journalist in Los Angeles specializing in film music. I regularly contribute to NPR, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post. My work has been published in the New York Times, Variety, The Ringer, Los Angeles Magazine, Alta Journal, and Vulture. I've written program notes for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Royal Albert Hall, and liner notes for more than 100 soundtrack albums.
