From being a development project in 2005, AdBlue has become an important part of Tennants' business; with 3 production plants, a large dedicated tanker fleet and a great team of people, our Greenox branded product soon became one of the UK market leaders.This role involved responsibility for all aspects of the Greenox business; sales, marketing, production, logistics & raw material (Urea) purchasing. The nature of the AdBlue market required us to diversify from simply supplying a chemical to providing a full service package including bulk storage tanks; this became a key part of the Greenox business model as all of these tanks are fitted with remote telematic level monitoring, allowing us to forecast consumption and provide efficient & timely refill.

Responsible for sales & business development in the Merseyside & North Wales area, promoting Tennants' comprehensive range of chemicals, solvents, surfactants and white oils. As usual for the company, this involved meeting with customers and prospects in all types of manufacturing sectors and of all sizes from micro business to multinational. A diverse and interesting role; if you are manufacturing then you will almost always be using products that Tennants can supply!

Working with customers on supplier rationalisation programmes (one stop shopping) to reduce the number of vendors, allowing them to concentrate on core/critical spend purchasing. Sourcing of new products to supplement Tennants' existing wide range, managing stock levels, pricing and specifications.
