About Tim Gutormson

I am a seed physiologist working specific on seed corn early season emergence. At SoDak Labs, Inc. we are trying to develop a 40F aerobic cold test to help seed companies, dealers and farmers achieve the maximum field populations when planting corn in cold soils. I have worked in the seed testing industry for over 40 years on seed vigor, herbicide bioassays and seed dormancy. I teach online classes in Seed Biology, Seed Technology and Seed Identification under the Seed Academy umbrella.
