My goal is to provide valuable thought leadership and guidance to organizations in a wide range of industries, helping them secure their critical systems and information while improving overall operating efficiency.My background in the field is diverse, having started as a developer and sysadmin in manufacturing before moving into banking where I developed my skills in software packaging and scripting. I transitioned into active directory administration and M&A work, before specializing in cyber security in 2009. I have extensive knowledge in various technologies, including endpoint tools, incident response, detection, systems and patch management, vulnerability assessment, web-content filtering, reversing malware, and digital forensics. I have also built and led teams responsible for endpoint security engineering, incident response, computer forensics, and offensive security (Red Teams).I have been recognized for my contributions to the field, including being named to Wells Fargo's 2020 Inventor Hall of Fame for 22 US patents ranging from systems management to authentication methods.
