As Director of Operations, I’m responsible for overseeing effective operating procedures. As Launch Leader, I managed all change for a the North America Downy Unstoppables Beads Platform. Responsibilities: (1) overseeing all changes for 3 NA Downy Unstoppables sites, (2) supporting the master plan and the Manufacturing connection between the upstream (Seamless Technical Community) and downstream (Plant) resources as well as the Supply Network Operations (Site Initiative Execution Leader), (3) ensuring all staffing is hired and trained in time for start of productionKey Accomplishments:• Delivered a large portfolio of capacity expansion and new to the world product initiatives • Managed start up expense budget in support of capital projects.• Direct Report Manager of 2 full time employees

Responsibilities: (1) growing engineering capability at two large manufacturing sites, (2) delivering capital projects that meet technical and financial success criteria, (3) ensuring capital forecast accuracy, and (4) delivering affordable capacity to meet fast growing demand in North America.Key Accomplishments:• Managed forecast in annual spending on capital projects.• Delivered a large portfolio of product initiatives creating incremental sales per year, extensive micro risk remediation projects and transformative site masterplan projects. • As the Safety Core Team member, led the site of 1100 employees from 35% site participation to 80% site participation in safety audits in 6 months. Successfully partnered with all Cincinnati Technical Centers to implement and transition to a new audit system while averaging above target participation• Improved speed of new product launches, manufacturing efficiency, productivity and lowered capital costs by creating a menu of formulation set points, standard equipment and plant layouts. Responsibilities: (1) delivering packaging material savings, (2) building capability of others in safety and compliance, (3) led the packaging delivery organization for the fabric enhancer business to enable supply assurance.Key Accomplishments: • Created a carton sizing model in partnership with Research & Development to enable a method to predict carton fit to accelerate carton redesign. • Delivered annualized savings in packaging supplier optimization in fiscal year 2016/2017.• Qualified a new carton supplier in 1/3 the time (4 weeks versus 3 months) to ensure there was zero business interruption while delivering a consumer noticeable improvement.• Led the development of a 3-year masterplan that delivered cost savings in fiscal year 2017/2018. • Qualified a new papermill for corrugate supply to ensure there was zero business interruption after the current supplier ceased business• Managed 1 full time employee, 1 co-op, 1 full time contractor, and a team of 6 plant-based resources

Greensboro is the top manufacturing site for Personal Health Care. It manufactures Vicks (Nyquil, Dayquil, Custom Care, and Sinex) and Digestive Wellness (Prilosec and Pepto-Bismol) products. Lead Packing Delivery Engineer in Initiative, Capacity and PR improvement projects on the solid dose lines. Responsible for delivering a successful start up of new initiatives. Additional responsibilities include identifying and delivering compliance/PR improvement projects. Strong technical packing skills/experiences. Demonstrated hands-on problem solving skills that delivered Process Reliability improvements and/or cost savings.Collaborated effectively across organizational boundaries. Designed and delivered $3 million in new capital equipment to support manufacturing components for the new Toyota Tundra, Lexus RX350, Ford Fusion and Cadillac CTS

Managed and delivered $8 million in new assembly and quality test equipment to global customers.

Delivered $6 million in new capital equipment to start up the new model Hondas. Equipment included Rubber Injection Molding Presses, High Speed Assembly Equipment and production process floor layout improvements.
