My passion is management systems, and environmental management systems in particular. I was privileged to receive some great training in "systems"​ during my 10 years in Rio Tinto, and I've applied that to my work (over the past 20 years) on environmental and safety management systems in Environment Essentials. The company's legal obligations products grew out of this work. Back in 2000, there was little on offer to help HSE managers get their heads around HSE legislation, and so EnviroLaw and SafetyLaw were developed to meet this need. Continuous improvement of the plain-English content and online functionality of these products is another of my passions.My ambition is to make Environment Essentials the best quality legal obligations service in the world, and we are getting closer to that goal every year. We are also working to integrate our legal obligations into some of the best compliance management systems on the market, to offer our clients a fully integrated service.Business connections are also important. If Environment Essentials can't solve a client problem, I want to be able to confidently refer them to someone who can.
