As MD of Abagold Ltd since 2015, and considering my career path over the past 40 yeas, I have been involved across many industries and businesses with the majority of them being Family owned businesses and this has enabled me to consider the evolution from Family start up's to list able entities that deliver consistent strong performance with excellent governance. The evolution of management and leadership styles is something I have studied extensively and this has enabled me to help drive the balanced performance of so many of the businesses I have managed and run. My knowledge and expertise covers a multi-disciplinary approach, including Sales and Marketing, General Management, organizational structure and succession, operations, processing, financial modelling, engineering, customer liaison to name a few. I am a committed team player who can be relied upon to contribute positively to any organization at management or board level. My experience in both corporate and start-up environments has provided me with an invaluable set of skills and experience that are well suited to my current role as Managing Director of Abagold and Trustee of Honeybee Heroes. My board styled skills include: strategic thinking, planning and budgeting, remuneration and incentive models, operational efficiency, marketing and sales, communication skills and customer relationship building.
