As Marketing Content Writer, my role is to drive sales by increasing traffic to our branded websites and supporting the websites of our customers with written content. I am responsible for all written content on our websites, catalogs, advertisements and email communications. I daily use SEO strategies and my education / passion as a writer to help establish CURT Group as a leader in the automotive aftermarket.One of my most important roles within the Marketing department is to support new product launches. As Content Writer, it is my responsibility to gather information for new products and ensure that our key selling features are clearly and effectively communicated. The content that I create directly supports many other Marketing efforts, including literature, video and photo assets, advertisements and presentations.Some of my additional responsibilities include ownership of training presentations for our customers and sales team, supporting our YouTube channel with video descriptions and supporting internal communications that go to the entire company.

As a web editor, I mainly wrote and edited product descriptions for the Menards website. This included the product titles, bullet points and long descriptions. I also did general writing-focused projects such as researching and developing text for landing pages, help pages and policy pages.
