I worked for the Hannigan research lab to support a variety of research projects. I helped with the development and testing of air quality measurement sensor packages. I soldered printed circuit boards (PCB) utilizing both through-hole and surface mount components. I conducted experiments to diagnose and troubleshoot PCB malfunctions, employing analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. I also developed and implemented data visualization code in order to streamline sensor functionality testing for field deployments, facilitating rapid assessment and validation of sensor performance in diverse environmental conditions.

I worked a research assistant for the SJEQ-D air quality monitoring project I distributed personal air quality sensors to residents of the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Cole and Clayton neighborhoods of Denver to collect data about the environmental quality effects of the Central-70 highway renovation. I also communicated with residents to troubleshoot data collection problems and understand personal effects of poor environmental quality. I designed a structure to secure and protect sensors during calibration process.
