My business cards don't contain any titles. I'm much more than any singular title can do justice. I'm an entrepreneur, sales manager, sustainability geek (honestly, I can read, write, or discuss the topic anytime), industrial engineer, logistics manager, anxiety reducer, and freelance photographer. I like simple stuff. But, believe good engineering can overcome most anything. I use acronyms out of necessity, but prefer to use "plain-speak". I'm adept at teaching companies how to apply sound practices to reduce their waste generation and manage it correctly and efficiently when necessary. My background is extensive, but not traditional. I was raised along the Mississippi River in the portion of the Midwest that is considered the agricultural hub of the world. John Deere, Caterpillar, Case-IH have all located their international headquarters as well as production facilities where I spent my adolescence. This provided me a unique opportunity to interact with both the production and professional world. I can discuss the operation of an end mill with a shop foreman. I can also discuss PNL's with the CFO or CEO. I am well-rounded and feel comfortable doing both.I'm passionate about the welfare of children in my community. I have donated my time and resources for the advocacy of juveniles at risk to adjudication. My efforts provided at risk children a voice otherwise stifled within the judicial system. My appointment to Iowa's Foster Care Review Board in Iowa's 7th judicial district remains one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. I'm loyal, and believe in doing what's right. I also enjoy my time away from work and enjoy golfing (mostly), hiking, and photography.
