Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Provided technical expertise to all aspects of the BWSR’s conservation easement programs. Responsible for acquisition of easements, including reviewing and mapping land ownership and legal descriptions for easement areas, identifying title problems and mediating solutions between all parties.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

Natural Resource Group was acquired by Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in 2014.Provided GIS support, data management, and spatial analysis to large scale energy infrastructure projects relating to wetland delineation and biological surveys. Supported web based map applications and services utilizing ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Explorer. Incorporated engineering data, developed and managed spatial data, and organized spatial and non-spatial data for feasibility and environmental permitting of large-scale energy projects.

Canton, Ohio Area

Assisted project managers with the visualization of land title, ownership, and leasehold data. Reviewed land title documents and property legal descriptions to determine Held-By-Production status of oil and gas producing properties. Prepared high quality print maps for legal documents, lease packets, and land acquisition inquiries.

Medina, Oh

Managed all spatial data at the Medina County Sanitary Engineer Offices. Worked closely with Engineering staff to analyze regions for future sewer extension projects. Designed and implemented a web mapping application to more efficiently deliver GIS services to employees and public users through ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS Viewer for Flex.

Aided park planners in developing new trail systems, identifying areas for future park development, and providing maps for legal documents, project proposals, and grant applications.

Assisted with the lab section of Intro to Maps & Map Reading at the University of Akron.

Gained valuable planning & GIS experience while working closely with experienced Planners and GIS Specialists. Projects related to Complete Streets Policy, cross-city trail initiatives, City of Superior bike route implementation, and Duluth bike route sign inventory offered valuable learning experience through hands-on field work.
