My daily duties include Windows AD account creation, DHCP, DNS, GPO, AD administration. Server and network administration as well as maintaining our firewalls and site to site vpn. I have set up a WDS server for deployment of Windows 10, with automated installers of daily used applications. I utilize LanSweeper and also their helpdesk and report to management our monthly helpdesk stats extracted from LanSweeper. We utilize PRTG for monitoring our servers, network and firewalls, and to identify any issues with our file shares.I wrote a leavers script, that automates the leavers process and sets up an out of office and also emails the helpdesk and adds the info to the leavers ticket. I am in the process of automating leavers script as well as a starters script for both hybrid and azure cloud users. I have started doing more automation with powershell and looking at doing Microsoft courses and studying towards Fortinet NSE4.I have recently updated out network to Ubiquiti switches, with 10GB fiber connections. I also updated our wireless access points from wifi 4 to wifi 6 using Ubiquiti APs.

I supported the whole of Wales and the South West of England. I offered a wide range of IT support throughout my sites. Daily I supported 20 servers, 15 switches and routers approximately 250 users. We use a mixture of technologies including HP and Dell servers, VMware and Windows Servers 2008, HP, 3com and Juniper switches and Windows 7. We use the telecom and video conferencing provided by Avaya systems.
