The name of our Yacht business, Hornblower Yachting, has more direct links to the name "Hornblower" than the inferred C S Forester "Horatio Hornblower" books and TV series.I spent 16 years playing the French Horn in London's music business, predominantly in the various Symphony Orchestras around the UK and in the West End and recording for film and TV. My career changed in 2013 when I realised I had achieved my goals in the music industry and wanted new challenges. My love of the outdoors and the sea led me to acquire marine qualifications. Hornblower Yachting Ltd provides a high-quality and reliable yacht delivery service. We work closely with many large international yacht brokers and dealers but also offer the same service directly to boat owners, regularly moving brand new boats from some of the French boatyards or relocating other vessels worldwide. A highlight of our work is offering own boat tuition to boat owners, enabling them to confidently use their boats, getting more from their investment.Following another passion for snow sports, food and hospitality, I spent 5 seasons in the French Alps working as a private chef across Meribel and Courchevel. This was the birth of Mountain Chefs Ltd. A private chef booking service which still operates successfully today Time doesn't allow much actual horn-blowing these days, but I regularly attend concerts in London with a disbelief that I ever performed with these excellent orchestras.
