This is my first prosthetic role upon leaving University. It deals purely with lower limbs, which are the main source of workload within this profession. This has been a good basis to develop my skills and learn how a prosthetist integrates with other healthcare professions, how satellite clinics are run and strengthen patient/clinician.

I worked part-time for Rochdale climbing wall as a climbing instructor. I was a die maintenance engineer working on engine dies for Honda's world famous V-Tec engines. This involved at lot of hand skills and engineering know how to manage a mixture of routine maintenance and unplanned stoppages. I was a survival equipment fitter, this included six weeks basic training and six months trade training followed by six months on the job work experience before becoming a senior aircraftsman.
